Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole

4 out of 5 stars.

I went to the theater on Tuesday night, free popcorn night, and watched an animated film called Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole. This movie was one of two new 3D movies in theaters this week. The movie is about Soren, a barn owl, is kidnapped by Metalbeak’s minions and he must escape and find the wise owls of Ga’Hoole and save the other owls captured by Metalbeak.

This book is based on the first three books in the series ( The Capture, The Journey, and The Rescue) of the series Guardians of Ga’Hoole by Kathryn Lasky. This movie was directed by Zack Snyder. There are great action scenes in this movie, which is the way all Zack Snyder’s films are. I love the slow scenes on this movie, like flying in the rain over the ocean and most of the battle sequences.

I highly recommend this film if you like animated movies.
