What Have I Learned?

When I started this class I assumed a lot about websites. I was the kind of person that would design a site then make the content fit with my cool design.

Now I see that developing a website is a lot more work than that. Interviewing clients and customers to find their needs and desires for the website. Then create a site that fits those needs. Designing the site comes later in the process and ends with testing the site and maintaining the site after it goes live.

Fox.comA site I like is fox.com. Before this class I didn’t like this site at all. It was too much white space. Now I see that all the white space is draw the viewer’s attention to the images on the site. The site is simple and easy to navigate which is what the site is intended to do.
