Movies That I Have Seen Recently

I thought that since the world has not heard my opinion in a while I would write a blog for today. I am a avid movie watcher, whether it is in a movie theater or via my Netflix account, I love to watch movies. I believe the main reason that I enjoy movies so much is because I’m not a very creative individual myself and creating a story that full of action, comedy, or drama is not something I can do so I find it intriguing. I am not a critic of movies just a fan.

So today I watched RED and Resident Evil: Afterlife. I saw Resident Evil: Afterlife in theaters in 3D and it was cool lots of slow motion 3D, kind of like a 3D Matrix movie without a storyline. RED was a first time watch for me. Trailers for this movie looked good but I missed it in theaters. Evil: Afterlife

Experience a new dimension in action horror as director Paul W.S. Anderson uses the 3D technology pioneered by James Cameron and Vincent Pace to take movie lovers on a nightmare thrill-ride. It’s been five years since the zombie virus swept across the globe, and Alice (Milla Jovovich) is still traveling tirelessly in search of survivors. When the Umbrella Corporation ratchets up the stakes, an old friend turns up to lend Alice a helping hand. Rumor has it that some survivors have found sanctuary in Los Angeles, but when Alice and friends show up they find the city overrun with zombies, and quickly realize they’ve stumbled into a diabolical trap. –

This movie was very cool in 3D, but not so much in 2D. A lot of the camera shot and slow motion was made for 3D, so that was a bit of a let down in 2D. Not much story line or plot, Find the Arcadia, but if you are a Resident Evil fan this movie is true to it roots and you will find it enjoyable.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.

REDFrank (Bruce Willis), Joe (Morgan Freeman), Marvin (John Malkovich) and Victoria (Helen Mirren) used to be the CIA’s top agents–but the secrets they know just made them the Agency’s top targets. Now framed for assassination, they must use all of their collective cunning, experience and teamwork to stay one step ahead of their deadly pursuers and stay alive. To stop the operation, the team embarks on an impossible, cross-country mission to break into the top-secret CIA headquarters, where they will uncover one of the biggest conspiracies and cover-ups in government history.

This movie has a superstar cast and a new twist on the CIA killer story. Good action scenes and humor at just the right time. “You just got your ass kicked be a grandpa.” I highly recommend this movie.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars.
