Life as We Know It and Due Date

This week from Netflix I have received Life as We Know It and Due Date. I saw both of these movies in theaters and enjoyed both of these comedies.

Life as We Know It

Caterer Holly Berenson (Katherine Heigl) and network sports director Eric Messer (Josh Duhamel) discover a reciprocal hatred during an ill-fated first date — but are forced to put their feelings aside when their mutual friends die and they become the guardians for orphaned Sophie. Now, Holly and Eric must learn to live with each other and juggle their promising careers while taking care of the little girl in this romantic comedy. –Netflix.com

I liked this movie. Good humor and good story.

Rating: 8 out of 10 stars.

Due Date

Days before his pregnant wife’s due date, Los Angeles architect Peter (Robert Downey Jr.) is about to fly home from Atlanta when a series of unfortunate incidents land him on the “no-fly” list, forcing him to hitch a ride across the country with slacker Ethan (Zach Galifianakis). As Peter desperately tries to get home, he must deal with Ethan’s laid-back attitude, numerous delays and several mishaps in this road trip comedy. Jamie Foxx co-stars. –Netflix.com

Personally I liked the idea of this movie, Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis, this movie just had to be good. I enjoyed this movie but I thought that there was a lot of needed crude language in this movie. This movie could have been PG-13 and this movie would have been just as good.

Rating: 8 out of 10 stars.
