No Strings Attached and Tron: Legacy

I hit up the Redbox yesterday and got my hands on No Strings Attached and Tron: Legacy.

No Strings Attached

Emotionally unencumbered and sexually satisfied, friends with benefits Emma (Natalie Portman) and Adam (Ashton Kutcher) have an open relationship that suits them just fine. That is, until those pesky little things called feelings enter the picture. Ivan Reitman directs and Kevin Kline and Cary Elwes co-star in this comedy that explores the perks and pitfalls of modern romance.

In my personal opinion, I think that this is Ashton Kutcher’s best movie. I think that Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher have very good on-screen chemistry. Oh and it is hilarious. This is the best comedy movie released this week.

Rating: 10 out of 10 stars.

Tron: Legacy

While investigating the mysterious disappearance of his father, Kevin (Jeff Bridges), techie Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) lands in a beguiling computerized world of enslaved gladiators, where his dad has been living for more than 20 years. Joined by Kevin’s trusted friend (Olivia Wilde), the father and son must journey across a breathtaking — and perilous — cyberspace in this 21st-century update to the beloved 1982 sci-fi classic.

I have always been a fan of the original Tron. Being a computer programmer I was able to understand the original better than most. This updated continuation story is much easier to understand both visual and intellectually. If you are a fan of computers or just want to see some amazing CG this movie is for you.

Rating: 10 out of 10 stars.
